Henderson Consultants uses their 70 plus years of collective experience working with students, teachers, administrators, board members, parents and community groups to help each region identify and focus on their unique qualities. They emphasize the significant role the education sector plays in building sustainable, prosperous regional economies.
In the northern New England area, Henderson Consultants has been working with VE and FairPoint Communications to research the area’s use of educational technology and to interview local and state educators and economic development leaders about the education sector’s role in the region’s economic climate. They have promoted collaboration throughout the state to increase funding for educational technology.
About Henderson Consultants Partners
Paul Henderson is an educational technology specialist for VE who served as a Middle School math and science teacher for 35 years. He has extensive, hands-on experience with educational technology; as president of his local teachers association for 10 years, he worked with teachers, administrators and colleges to expand the use of technology in the classroom. He also is experienced in management-labor relations. Paul holds a B.A. from Westminster College, PA and an M.A. in Psychology from Millersville University, PA.
Jane Henderson is an educational specialist for VE who has a rich background in public and private school early education. Jane founded a preschool and developed its unique curriculum that allows children to learn through play. Throughout Jane’s teaching career, community members and groups were a vital part of creating relevant learning activities for her students. Jane has taught reading and writing internationally and served as an adjunct instructor at Penn State University. She received a B.S. degree from Towson University, MD and an M.S. degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University, PA.
